Airport BGR and barcode imagers

Airport Barcode Imagers

Bar code imager

The Access LSR range of bar code imagers have been optimised for airport bar code document scanning applications and is designed to operate in demanding airport environments. The addition of optional functionality such as OCR and RFID reading technology allows for the reading of data from traditional and the new e-passports in the same device.

Ruggedly constructed with no moving parts these devices are built to withstand years of use. LSRs can be configured to connect directly to a workstation or through an Access IS ATB42x series integrated keyboard. Serial RS232 and USB (serial or keyboard) interface versions are available.

The LSR 2D omnidirectional bar code imagers capture bar codes within a second of presentation. On the LSR130, LSR120 and LSR110 bright green indicators and sounders confirm a good and accepted read. LSRs may also be configured with data format settings and to also respond to host messages.

Purpose designed to scan documents on the desk/counter top or in self-service kiosks, the LSRs imagers read all popular linear, PDF417 and 2D symbologies intuitively and without hesitation in any orientation.

In addition, we have a receipt printer for use in conjunction with these devices and a wide range of boarding gate readers.
