AV (Audio / Video) Extender Range for Dealing Room & Bank Use
EXT series AV extenders are designed to distribute audio and video in bank, dealing room and trading floor applications to screens for use by traders or the general public.
High resolution video and CD quality audio can be distributed over distances up to 300 metres with industry standard CAT5, 5e, 6 and 7 cables.
With one to eight ports per transmitter and a cascade feature, EXT products offer a solution for anything from a single screen requirement to multi-screen applications deployed over a large site, and ideal for information displays or video distribution.
The EXT series can control displays via an integrated RS-232 option while avoiding the high costs associated with fibre-optic cabling or providing local CPUs adjacent to screens. The innovative design allows for flexible audiovisual distribution, management, control and interaction with the display devices which can be expanded to grow in line with project developments. Industry standard 3U racking solutions are also available.
AV Extender Features
Video performance
Market leading resolutions of 1600x1200 pixels over 200 metres and 1280x1024 pixels over 300 metres.
Video compensation and brightness control
The EXT units can apply a high level of signal compensation and brightness correction that ensures the image is crisp, clear and bright over long distances.
Audio
Digital audio transmission delivers high fidelity, CD-quality sound; click-less audio for speakers and microphones.
Display management via RS232 (certain models only)
Included with EXT transmitters, easy-to-use software provides control over display via the integrated RS232 ports. This enables bi-directional and automated communication with individual screens, groups of screens or all screens at the same time.
Integrated DeSkew
The EXT has integrated skew correction with a 300MHz bandwidth and allows the receiver to be located further from the transmitter or cope with higher video resolutions.
Other AV extender features
The extenders operate from a standard VGA input. Zero latency means that all screens are fully synchronised.
