BGR130 Boarding Gate Reader
The BGR130 boarding gate reader combines a 2D bar code imager with a manual magnetic swipe reader (MSR), providing a robust and cost-effective gate reading solution where occasional ATB2 and frequent flier card (FQTV) reading is required.
The BGR is a high-speed omnidirectional 2D bar code reader that reads travel documents face up, optimised for demanding boarding environments. The integrated 4-track MSR uses no moving parts, minimising service costs and maximising reliability.
The BGR130 is flexible and intuitive to use. A two line user display, bright LED indicators and a programmable sounder provide operator feedback and ensure that passenger processing can be efficiently completed at the gate. Two option ports at the rear of the unit are designed to connect devices such as a receipt printer or keypad to facilitate seat assignment at the gate.
Options exists to integrate OCR swipe reading functionality capable of reading ICAO9303 compliant passports.
