2D BCBP Boarding Gate Readers
Access IS has a comprehensive range of boarding gate readers that read traditional ATB2 documents as well as the new 2D BCBP documents. Models include manual swipe and motorised ATB2 document readers, and options include the integration of OCR and RFID reading functionality for reading passport and e-passports.
The family comprises three base models: the BGR120S, BGR120M and BGR130 and these devices are summarised below. All devices are designed to be rugged, intuitive to use and are optimised for fast document reading to ensure fast and reliable passenger processing.
In addition, we have a receipt printer for use in conjunction with Access BGR products as a simple and reliable means to print receipts at airport check-in and boarding gate and a range of bar code imagers.

BGR 120S
The world’s first boarding gate reader designed to solely accept bar code documents for airports that have converted 2D BCBPs. With two-line user display, bright LED indicators and a programmable sounder.

BGR 130
A BGR with manual ATB2 MSR reader proving a reliable cost effective solution for high-speed 2D BCBP reading and occasional ATB2 reading. OCR swipe and RFID reading is optional for reading traditional passports and e-passports.

BGR 120M
Integrated motorised 4-track ATB2 reader and high-speed bar code imager providing a solution during the transition from ATB2 to 2D BCBPs. The MSR incorporates a straight path document feed to minimise jams.
