Cherry G81-7000 & G81-8000 Keyboards
Cherry's G81-8000 and G81-7000 range is a family of data input keyboards that combine the functions of keyboard and magnetic card reader. There are also options for smart card readers and intelligent barcode decoder for connecting wand readers, CCD scanners, laser scanners

Keyboards are Windows-compatible (105 keys) and available as standard or compact models. Optionally available with 120 keys, a number of which can be individually labeled and programmed.

- MSR capable reading any ISO7812 magnetic stripe; 3 tracks simultaneously
- bar code reader decodes the following barcodes: Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, Code 16k, Plessey Industrial 2/5, Matrix 2/5, Codabar, Interleaved 2/5, Code 11, UPC/EAN/JAN
- MSR and bar code data transferred via keyboard interface
- Bar code reader parameters are programmable
- Smart card reader DIN ISO-IEC7816 card compliant
- Smart card data transmission via RS232
