USB powered POS pole displays

The GIEPDK range of customer displays are powered directly from the USB port on any PC or laptop, saving space and simplifying installation by eliminating the need for an additional power supply.

 

The pole displays use vacuum fluorescent (VF) technology ensuring that characters are clear and simple to read even in very bright conditions. They come in the industry standard two-line by 20-character configuration with 5 mm and 9 mm character heights. Eight standard character fonts are available.

 

Both extruded aluminium and plastic type-4 housings are available, offering four-position tilt-recline and 330-degree swivel adjustment. Displays can be wall or vertically mounted with standard pole lengths of between 5 cm and 560 cm.

 

Numerous filter colours are available including amber, blue, green and neutral grey.

Kit Contents and Software

A standard pole display kit contains a display module, a USB interface cable, green filter, a 460 mm (18”) pole and sheet metal base - modification to this standard kit can be determined by specifying the product using the part numbering system overleaf.

 

All displays come with a command set and software to access a number of extended features:
