The OCR640 imager for kiosks and autogates captures the full page of a passport using colour, IR & UV lights illuminated hidden graphical patterns on the document. It simultaneously decodes the machine readable zone (MRZ) from documents complying to ICAO 9303 and an RFID option enables the device to simultaneously decode the contents of an e-passport or contactless smart card chip.
