Access' new name reflects nature of business
Reading, UK, October 29, 2007 – Since its formation over twenty years ago, Access Keyboards Ltd has manufactured custom keyboards for the point of sale, banking and airport industries. During this time it has become a market leader in these markets through a dedication to quality, reliability and value. Over the past five years, we have developed a number of different and innovative data capture products in response to customer demand in these markets and these new products have helped the business to enjoy significant growth, quadrupling in size in this time.
To reflect our broader product range and technical ability we have decided to change the company name from Access Keyboards to Access IS, an abbreviation of Access Interfacing Solutions. The new logo alludes to our heritage in keyboard design, using the shape of a keyboard return key. Using two interlocking shapes to complete the image, the logo represents the nature of the business today, a company that provides smooth solutions to challenges in data interfacing.
The change is effective 29th October 2007. While we will trade using the name Access IS, the legal name of the business will change to Access Ltd. All other details will remain the same, including our address, telephone numbers and company registration number. There is no change to the ownership or management of the business.
