Pole displays offer wide-angle viewing and simple USB plug-and-play
Reading, UK, 29th April, 2008: Access IS announces the addition of USB-powered pole displays to its retail products portfolio. Powered from standard 1.1 or 2.0 USB ports, there is no requirement for an additional external power supply or powered USB hubs, significantly simplifying installation.
The pole displays use vacuum fluorescent (VF) technology ensuring that characters are clear and simple to read even in very bright conditions. They come in the industry standard 2-line by 20-character configuration with 5mm and 9mm character heights. Eight standard character fonts are available.
Both extruded aluminium and plastic type-4 housings are available, offering four-position tilt-recline and 330-degree swivel adjustment. Displays can be wall or vertically mounted with standard pole lengths of between 2 and 22 inches.
Numerous filter colours are available including amber, blue, green and neutral grey.
