Access-IS is becoming HID Global

In August 2020, HID Global acquired Access-IS. As part of the integration process, we are taking an important step by transitioning the Access-IS brand name into HID Global.

Access-IS’ proven technology and solutions broaden HID Global’s portfolio to create a new wealth of applications to enable HID to realise its vision. The product and technology portfolios are greatly complementary and will accelerate HID’s vertical market expansion and add new product offerings that supports people’s ability to transact safely, work productively and travel freely.

For our customers this will allow you to benefit from a wider range of solutions across existing and new markets all from a single supplier. Working ever more closely together Access-IS and HID engineers are benefitting from each other’s expertise and knowledge to develop enhanced solutions to market needs.

If you are already an Access-IS customer then your sales and support contacts and the products will remain unchanged but will fall fully under the HID brand. This process will take some time to complete but rest assured that we will keep you informed of any changes during the transition and as part of the HID Global family your experience should go from strength to strength.
