Dealing Keyboard with Four System Control
With the AKC127-K4 users can control multiple trading and dealing systems with a single keyboard and mouse when used in conjunction with an Access ‘KMS4’ keyboard and mouse switch.
The keyboard can be programmed to control up to four workstations with a single keystroke to make the selection.
A bright LED indicator located above the channel select keys displays the currently selected channel.
All 127 keys on the keyboard can be programmed. When configured in a conventional QWERTY layout over 20 keys remain for customised functionality. The function keys can be programmed to execute a different function for each system selection, or can be programmed to be off unless a particular system is chosen, safeguarding against accidental execution of the keystroke.
Special keytop legends, layouts and colours can be provided, together with single, dual and quad or blanking keys.
Reuters®, EBS® and Bloomberg® emulation keysets available. USB, PS/2 and Sun® interfaces are supported through KMS4 cable options.

SoftProg
To help customers design their own keyboard configurations, Access has developed SoftProg32 Windows® configuration software. This utility is intuitive to use. Key positions can be programmed to have a single character or string of characters. Adjacent keys may be combined to provide double or quad keys. Alternatively, keys may be disabled using a key switch lock-out cover.
Keycode macros can be configured for each channel and stored independently. The keyboard detects when the KMS4 has switched channels and invokes the corresponding set of programmed macros.
Once completed the keyboard configuration can be saved as a file and downloaded to the keyboard’s nonvolatile memory or be sent to us for keyboard configuration in production.
